We first selected young and vigorously growing tissues for transformation, followed by placing the plant tissues in Agrobacterium medium containing the desired genes. After co-culture, the plant tissues were transferred to a selective medium containing antibiotic, which helped to eliminate non-transformed cells and allowed only transformed cells to survive and regenerate. Subsequently, the selected transformed cells will be further cultured in a medium containing plant growth regulator to induce bud formation. Subsequently, we transferred the proliferated shoots into a rooting medium containing appropriate plant hormones to induce root formation. Finally, we tested and confirmed the positive plants.
